Crap... I think.

So my driveway is a pretty new concrete one with no oil spots or anything on it. I bought the place in March and haven't seen any spots from my truck- until last night. There are two spots under my truck a few inches apart; one is about double the size of an old half-dollar coin, and the other is slightly larger than a quarter. It is definitely oil, but I can't tell if its pure or not.

The last time I drove my truck I ran the AC, which I haven't really done since moving in. I'm hoping the AC drip just picked up oil and crude off the frame, but I'm not sure if that is even possible?

step 1: start truck
step 2: run truck till it's wam
step 3: crawl underneath truck while it's running (recommend ear plugs if your hearing is sensitive)
step 4: observe for drips

I drove it around running errands today and then let it run for a bit when I got home and checked around under it. Didn't see anything, so I'm hoping it was just the AC.

Well drips aren't, but leaks are. I was worried it was a leak, but so far it doesn't seem to be a leak.

I had my first water puddle under my car just last week from running the AC, I think it is perfectly reasonable to assume that the water took some of the oil with it. But like anything, the best way to find something is to just go looking for it. Keep an eye for more leaks, or maybe somebody with a piece of shit vehicle did a quick three pointer in your driveway and left the mess.

Well, I haven't been running the AC lately, and haven't seen anymore spots. So I'm guessing that's what it most likely was.
