Project The official Camaro thread

Well, yeah.

The Fel-Pro MLS gaskets apparently were defective. The oil drain on the driver's side was leaking quite bad. So I took the heads off, replaced them, and I am in the slow process of reassembly. I must admit, the engine sure was on a zipper. Took me roughly 2 hours to pull the heads. This is what it looked like before disassembly.

I kinda regret not taking more pictures so I know how all the harnesses were routed, but oh well. It started again earlier today. Just need to connect the intake and exhaust to the headers and it should be good to go.

Again....

The goddamn MSD Digital 6 took a shit on me today. I got the car running by bypassing the box, and I am going to put a set of connectors in where if I ever have a problem on the road I can bypass it on the road.

Fuel inlet. The factory setup is o-ringed and had 2 hard lines going to meet the two rubber lines. I didnt feel like making a whole new line all the way back to the tank when I dont have to right now.

I see. I just thought it was funny that there was a beautiful stainless steel line with shiny AN fittings meeting up with factory lines.

I took a friend of mine for a ride to the end of the street and back. I believe the correct term for him would be "Screamed like a bitch."
