1st anniversary

So my 1st wedding anniversary is this sunday, but I have absolutely no idea what to do. Were both on the broke side since were still college students.

I was curious as to what everyone here did for their first anniversary?

Congrats, though.

We didn't do anything huge. We had a nice dinner and then went to the church where we got married at with a big sign saying it was our anniversary and had some pictures taken. These pictures were then used for one of those annoying holiday letters that people hate.

I don't think it's necessary to spend a lot of money. Do something that focuses on the two of you being together. Maybe a picnic somewhere? Cook her dinner (women love that!)?

I can't remeber as it was 7 years ago. But probably nothing special. Just dinner and a movie most likely.

Don't remember, it's been a while. Dinner and a DVD I think.

Congrats! and many more to you.

wound up going to a winery, and a casino (wasn't our lucky day) and finished off the night making dinner together, toasting over our champagne and anniversary cake, amazing that cake can still taste soo good after a year of being frozen.

That sounds like it was a good plan! Especially the winery part.

Worked all day.

But called in sick the next day after spending the night in bed. But we didn't get much sleep.
