Lemming, that would only be fair if you did it murder/suicide style.

I have to be honest... I think this place is dieing. I said in another thread that it was like the patients running the asylum, and I really think that is an applicable metaphor. I think the "powers that be" have forgotten about us.

I mean I bought a permanent donator status on ricecop... and I thought it was supposed to be permanent here. I'm pretty sure that it was always a yearly thing that Trooper/Gost kept renewing for all of us (because I think we all bought what was supposed to be the permanent status). All of them running out at about the same time of the year that we all switched over from ricecop makes me think that Trooper isn't around anymore. He is running something else and we are just a small blip on his used bandwidth meter.

How does your straight jacket fit? It's obviously not on too tight, is it?

But I at least half agree with you:

Between paying for the RC donator status and then becoming a monthly contributor here for quite awhile, I'd still really like to have access to that forum.

Something tells me that perhaps this was a glitch and Ghostt is going to reinstate.

On the other hand, I couldn't possibly blame him for letting them expire and expect the expirations to remain in place.

I lost my donator status long ago. It makes sense though, seeing as how I donated to Ricecop in like, `02? I couldn't possibly afford to pay monthly though.

this place isn't nearly active enough to justify a monthly donation, anymore. it's sad, but we also all know it's true.

I have to ask myself, is $35 worth having additional access to one extra forum and ability to attach images? Well, since attached images are now only clickable thumbnails rather than full size images, I normally just host images on ImageShack now...

I agree. I miss the Contributor's Room forum, but I can't remember the last time I attached an image. I'll probably not pay anything unless this forum starts to pick up.
